USA swimmers Patrick Sammon and Michael Andrew recently recovered a GoPro camera belonging to Philadelphia 76ers guard Jaylen Brown at the bottom of the ocean in Hawaii. The swimmers discovered the device while surfing and identified the NBA player after reviewing the stored footage. The video showed Brown surfing with a full camera crew, leading the swimmers to post a clip online to help locate the owner. Within minutes of the video circulating, social media users identified Brown as the athlete in the footage. Brown is entering the 2026-27 season with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he aims to help the team compete against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference.
