USA TODAY Sports selects top nine girls flag football players of week two

USA TODAY Sports identified nine high school flag football players for recognition following their performances during the week of August 26 through September 1. The list features athletes from schools ranked in the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 rankings, including standouts from Willowbrook, Vestavia Hills, Dos Pueblos, JSerra Catholic, Smith's Station, and The Classical Academy. Players were evaluated based on single-game statistical contributions, such as touchdown counts, passing yardage, and defensive stops. This initiative coincides with the rise of girls flag football as a top 10 youth sport in the United States. Future selections will continue to highlight individual achievements for players on Super 25 teams on a weekly basis throughout the season.
