USA women's hockey faces Canada in exhibition match in Ontario

The U.S. women's hockey team is set to face Canada in an exhibition match on October 28 at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ontario, beginning at 7 p.m. ET. This match serves as a rematch following the Americans' Olympic gold victory in 2026, where they overcame Canada in a dramatic overtime finish. Team USA is fielding a roster of 31 players, including Hilary Knight, who led the team to its gold medal. The Canadian team will compete without captain Marie-Philip Poulin, who is recovering from surgery. A second exhibition match is scheduled for October 31 in Plymouth, Michigan, ahead of the IIHF Women's World Championship next month.
