Usama Mir criticizes Pakistan Cricket Board after series loss to England

Pakistan leg-spinner Usama Mir has publicly questioned the leadership and management of the Pakistan Cricket Board following the national team's defeat in the three-match Test series against England. After losing consecutive matches at Headingley and Lord's, the board dismissed head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul. Officials also recalled seven players, including Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha, ahead of the third Test in Birmingham scheduled for September 9. Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke will manage the team for the final match of the tour. Mir characterized the changes as a late response to long-standing systemic issues. Pakistan has struggled recently in away fixtures, suffering losses in 10 of their last 11 Test matches played outside the country.
