USC dominates Texas State and Texas A&M; UCLA eliminated from postseason

USC baseball enjoyed a successful day at the College Station Regional, winning both games against Texas State and Texas A&M, scoring a total of 29 runs. This success puts USC one game away from its first super regional appearance in 21 years. In contrast, crosstown rival UCLA faced elimination, losing to Saint Mary’s, marking the first time a No. 1 overall seed failed to reach the regional final. Additionally, UCLA's softball team also suffered elimination, compounding a tough day for the Bruins. USC now stands as the only Los Angeles team remaining in postseason play.
