USC football is preparing to face the Maryland Terrapins this season, with special attention on cornerback Amari Jackson. Jackson, who previously played at Boston College, offers experience to a Maryland defense that struggled against the pass last year, ranking last in the Big Ten for passing touchdowns allowed. His ability to play both man and zone coverage makes him a pivotal player for the Terrapins. USC's offensive line is expected to provide quarterback Jayden Maiava with sufficient time to navigate Maryland's secondary, but Jackson's performance could influence the game's outcome. USC will need to account for him to secure a victory.
