His 2008 season included 54 tackles and four sacks, contributing to USC's 12-1 finish. After college, Matthews was drafted 26th overall by the Green Bay Packers and became a six-time Pro Bowler during his NFL career, also playing for the Los Angeles Rams in 2019.
