USC players Jayden Maiava, Waymond Jordan added to Maxwell Award Watch List

USC quarterback Jayden Maiava and running back Waymond Jordan have been named to the 2026 Maxwell Award Watch List. The Maxwell Award has recognized the top college football player annually since 1937. Maiava has previously garnered multiple preseason accolades, including being named to the Big Ten Preseason Honors list. Jordan, returning from a season-ending injury, was recognized as one of the top running backs after an impressive performance last season. USC begins its 2026 season on August 29 against San Jose State.
