USI women's soccer opens goalkeeper competition after Markland's departure

The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team is holding an open competition for the starting goalkeeper position following the departure of former three-year starter Anna Markland, who has chosen to pursue medical school at IU. The candidates are sophomore Merrick Schwalbach, redshirt sophomore Aleia Lansing, and sophomore Brooke Shafer.
