USL Dunkerque reach a verbal agreement with striker M’baye Niang

USL Dunkerque have reached a verbal agreement to sign free agent striker M’baye Niang to a one-year contract. The deal includes an option for an additional year for the 31-year-old forward. Niang has been a free agent since departing Turkish club Gençlerbirliği SK, where he recorded six goals and two assists in 27 appearances last season. He brings significant experience to the French side, having previously played for clubs including AC Milan, Torino, Watford, and several Ligue 1 teams like SM Caen, Stade Rennais, and Girondins de Bordeaux. Over his career, the Senegal international has made over 160 appearances and scored approximately 40 goals in the French top flight. This move follows the club's recent signing of Steven Nzonzi as they look to strengthen their squad during the current transfer window.
