USMNT arrives in Southern California for World Cup base camp

The USMNT opened its World Cup base camp at Great Park in Irvine, California, with a large welcome from approximately 5,500 fans on Monday. The team, led by coach Mauricio Pochettino, conducted a training session before their Group D opener against Paraguay at SoFi Stadium on Friday. This training facility, a converted military base, will serve as the team's home for the next several weeks, including daily workouts leading up to their matches against Australia and Türkiye. Players are staying at the nearby Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel.
