Utah Utes sign defensive tackle Jireh Moe from transfer portal

The Utah Utes have added defensive tackle Jireh Moe from the transfer portal, who played previously at San Jose State. At 6 feet tall and 280 pounds, Moe is considered undersized for his position, which deterred many programs from pursuing him. Utah's coaching staff, however, saw potential in his performances against Power Five competition and rated him highly in their analytics. After a solid offseason, he made his mark in his debut against Arkansas, posting an impressive performance with a sack and multiple tackles for loss.
