UTEP Miners men's basketball to compete in Cancun Challenge

The UTEP Miners men's basketball team will participate in the Cancun Challenge on November 24-25, facing the College of Charleston and either Kennesaw State or Eastern Michigan. The tournament will be held in Cancun, Mexico, and marks a significant early-season test for UTEP coach Joe Golding, who expressed enthusiasm for competing against quality opponents. Following the tournament, UTEP is set to host North Dakota at the Don Haskins Center on December 5. The tip-off time for the North Dakota game is yet to be determined. UTEP also has two exhibition games scheduled in Juarez on August 3 and 4 before the regular season begins.
