UTEP women's basketball announces schedule for inaugural Mountain West season

UTEP women’s basketball revealed its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, marking the program's debut in the Mountain West Conference. The season opens on November 2 with a six-game homestand at the Don Haskins Center, beginning against Western New Mexico. Additional home games include matchups with Incarnate Word, New Mexico State, Alabama State, Kansas City, and Texas Southern throughout November. After Thanksgiving, the Miners will compete in the Texas State Tournament before resuming the series against New Mexico State on December 5. They will close non-conference play with a home game against UC Santa Barbara, setting the stage for 18 Mountain West games.
