Utilita Bowl to host inaugural Ashes Test in 2027 series

The 2027 Ashes series will feature its first Test at Southampton's Utilita Bowl, starting on July 21. The series opens at Trent Bridge on June 18, marking the first time Edgbaston will not host the opening Test since 2015. The England men's team will also face Pakistan and play a one-off Test against Bangladesh ahead of the Ashes. Edgbaston will host the third Test on July 8, while Lord's stages the second Test beginning June 30. The Kia Oval will host the final Test starting July 29, with Old Trafford and Headingley missing out on the 2027 series but scheduled for the 2031 edition.
