Valentine Delon wins Women's Amateur Championship at Muirfield

Valentine Delon secured a significant victory in the Women's Amateur Championship final at Muirfield, defeating Andrea Revuelta 3&1. This win grants Delon invites to four major tournaments including the Amundi Evian Championship and the AIG Women’s Open. The 21-year-old held a two-hole advantage at the halfway mark and showcased her skill by withstanding multiple challenges from Revuelta. Delon, the first French champion since 2015, expressed her disbelief and excitement following the victory. She will also compete in next year's Augusta National Women's Amateur, among other events, if she remains an amateur.
