Valentine Delon wins Women's British Amateur at Muirfield

Valentine Delon, a rising senior at Virginia Tech, claimed the 123rd Women's British Amateur title on Saturday at Muirfield in Scotland. Delon defeated Spaniard Andrea Revuelta 3 and 1 in a match that showcased strong performances from both players. Delon was able to maintain her lead through challenging conditions, ultimately closing the match with a birdie on the 17th hole. With this victory, she becomes the first French champion of the Women's British Amateur since 2015 and earns exemptions into several major championships, including the 2026 Amundi Evian Championship and the 2026 AIG Women's Open.
