Vance Joseph discusses Broncos' pass rush strategy ahead of season opener

Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph addressed media on August 26, outlining strategies teams are expected to use against the Broncos' defense this season. Joseph emphasized that opponents aim to avoid losing first downs, which activates Denver's strong pass rush. He pointed to recent trends observed against the Packers and Falcons, indicating a preference for quick passes and outside runs. This will pressure the Broncos' secondary and run defense as they prepare for their Week 1 matchup against the Chiefs, where quick passes will likely be utilized to limit hits on quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
