Vancouver Canucks hire Daren Hermiston for player development role

The Vancouver Canucks have reportedly hired Daren Hermiston as part of their management team. Hermiston, a current player agent with ties to several WHL players, is expected to take on a player development role within the organization. His clients include Arshdeep Bains and others with WHL connections. This is not Hermiston's first venture into team management, as the Canucks previously employed Émilie Castonguay, a former agent who became Assistant General Manager. The team's general manager, Ryan Johnson, recently introduced Manny Malhotra as head coach.
