Vancouver Canucks select Brooks Rogowski with 33rd pick in NHL Draft

The Vancouver Canucks used their first pick of the 2026 NHL Draft to select Brooks Rogowski at No. 33 overall. Rogowski, a center from Brighton, Michigan, recently turned 18 and played high school hockey at Detroit Catholic Central, winning a state championship in the 2023-24 season. He has registered 15 goals and 27 assists in the 2025-26 season while playing for the Oshawa Generals in the OHL. Rogowski is also committed to college hockey at Michigan State.
