Vanderbilt football continues using two-quarterback system against Delaware

Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea confirmed the team will continue utilizing both Jared Curtis and Blaze Berlowitz at quarterback for the upcoming game against Delaware. The two programs are scheduled to meet at FirstBank Stadium on September 12 at 3:15 p.m. CT. During Vanderbilt's 28-9 win over Austin Peay, the rotation saw Berlowitz start and maintain a run-first approach, while Curtis entered to provide a different look. Lea noted that the first outing was hindered by a game script that became lopsided, preventing a full assessment of both players. The coaching staff intends to use the Delaware matchup to acquire a larger sample size on each quarterback's performance. Lea stated that while Berlowitz has earned the right to take the opening snap, the objective remains finding the most effective configuration to support the team’s development and winning efforts.
