Vasco seeks free agents following major spending in Brasileirão

Summary

Vasco, currently in the Brasileirão relegation zone, aims to bolster its squad with free agents for the second half of the season. The club previously invested over R$100 million on new signings in the first transfer window, prompting the shift to seeking affordable talent. Negotiations are underway for a sponsorship deal with SportingBet, which could inject R$25 million into Vasco's budget and offer some financial relief during this period. The team is now focused on finding viable players to secure its spot in the league.
