Ven-Allen Lubin returns to NC State basketball for final season
Summary

Ven-Allen Lubin has announced his return to N.C. State basketball for the 2026-27 season, utilizing a fifth year of eligibility. The decision follows a recent court ruling granting additional eligibility to the 2022 class, although the NCAA is appealing. Lubin previously had an impactful season with the Wolfpack, averaging 13.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while showcasing strong shooting efficiency. His return adds continuity to N.C. State's roster under new head coach Justin Gainey, who now has six big men to work with, allowing Lubin to play more as a power forward.
