Vermillion Trails Alliance hosts annual race event in Montezuma on September 26

The Vermillion Trails Alliance scheduled the Over the River and Through the Woods race event for September 26 in Montezuma, Indiana. Participants may register for either a 5K or a newly introduced 10K race, both starting at 9:00 a.m. at Reeder Park. Event organizers completed necessary repairs to a 200-foot section of the trail that was washed out by rising Wabash River waters. In addition to the races, a festival featuring local food vendors, bounce houses, and a farmers' market will take place on the grounds. Organizers recommend that interested runners register by September 21 to ensure they receive a race shirt. Midwest Timing will provide official race timing services for all participants throughout the morning.
