VfB Stuttgart has agreed to loan midfielder Laurin Ulrich to newly promoted SC Paderborn for the 2026-27 Bundesliga season. The agreement was finalized on Friday evening, with Ulrich undergoing a medical examination soon. The transfer follows the departure of Mika Baur to Glasgow Celtic. Alongside the loan, Ulrich is expected to extend his contract with Stuttgart until summer 2028. He has previously played on loan at 1.FC Magdeburg and made one professional appearance for Stuttgart in 2022.
