VfB Stuttgart striker Jeremy Arévalo nears loan move to Estrela Amadora

VfB Stuttgart striker Jeremy Arévalo is closing in on a season-long loan move to the Portuguese side Estrela Amadora. The 21-year-old Ecuador international has struggled to find a consistent role in the senior rotation since his arrival from Racing Santander in January. Stuttgart signed Arévalo to a long-term contract through 2031, but the addition of Dzenan Pejcinovic this summer has pushed him further down the squad hierarchy. Arévalo would follow Badredine Bouanani, who recently secured a loan move to Rangers, as another post-deadline departure for the German club. The move to Estrela Amadora involves an ownership group that includes former professionals Thomas Müller, Mats Hummels, Yann Sommer, and Lucas Hernández. Stuttgart recently saw several players exit on loan or permanent deals, including Chema Andrés, Mirza Catović, and Lazar Jovanović, as the club continues a significant reduction of the senior squad.
