VfL Wolfsburg has officially signed Chelsea forward Mara Alber on a loan deal for the 2026/2027 season, as confirmed today. The 20-year-old returns to Germany after spending the second half of last season on loan at Werder Bremen. Alber aims to gain regular competitive experience in the Frauen-Bundesliga and contribute to Wolfsburg's aspirations in all competitions. She previously joined Chelsea from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim but had limited impact with the Blues.
