Vic Burley receives conditional discharge following arrest in Clemson

Clemson defensive tackle Vic Burley was granted a conditional discharge on August 26 following his arrest for public disorderly conduct on August 22. Burley is required to maintain a clean record for six months, complete educational programs, perform community service, and attend an educational course at Clemson. If he fulfills these conditions, Burley’s charge will be dismissed and may lead to expungement of his record. He was suspended indefinitely from the football team by coach Dabo Swinney after the arrest, which involved Burley found asleep in his truck with a detectable odor of marijuana. The Tigers are set to open their season on September 5 against LSU.
