Victor defeats Horseheads in boys lacrosse regional final

Victor claimed an 18-4 victory over Horseheads in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class B regional final on June 6 at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. After a strong start, Victor led 8-0 after the first quarter. Jackson Mead led Victor with six goals and an assist. Horseheads concluded its season with a 12-7 record after achieving its first sectional title in a decade. Victor moves on to face Niskayuna in the state semifinals on June 11.
