Victor Munoz set for Liverpool debut against AS Monaco
Summary

Liverpool prepares to face AS Monaco at Anfield on August 9, 2026, with Victor Munoz likely making his debut after cutting short a break following the World Cup. Munoz joined from Osasuna for £34.5 million but missed early chances to feature due to an injury. He has expressed readiness to start if selected. Liverpool's lineup could include players returning from international duty, such as Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk, while others like Alexis Mac Allister and several injured players remain unavailable. The match is part of Liverpool's ongoing efforts to establish team clarity following a recent 4-2 loss to Leeds.
