Victoria Jaster earns Player of the Week honors for Smithson Valley

Victoria Jaster, a freshman outside hitter for Smithson Valley, has been named the Express-News volleyball Player of the Week. In a recent five-set victory against New Braunfels, Jaster recorded 18 kills and 19 digs. She also contributed 14 kills and nine digs in a sweep against New Braunfels Long Creek. These performances helped the Rangers secure a 4-0 record and sole possession of first place in District 25-5A. Other noteworthy performances included Alison Baldwin from Clark and Macy Glass from Reagan, who each had key contributions in their respective matches.
