Vikings consider bringing back Za’Darius Smith after Eagles release
Summary

The Minnesota Vikings are evaluating the possibility of re-signing Za’Darius Smith following his release from the Philadelphia Eagles. Smith, a three-time Pro Bowl edge rusher, was previously with the Vikings in 2022 and had a strong season with 10 sacks. The Vikings may need an experienced pass rusher, as their current roster includes younger candidates like Bo Richter and Tyler Batty. Smith's familiarity with the Vikings coaching staff could facilitate a smooth return to the team. His status as a free agent opens the door for potential negotiations if Minnesota decides to pursue him.
