Vikings sign running back Jermar Jefferson ahead of preseason opener

The Vikings have signed running back Jermar Jefferson, a former Detroit Lions player, ahead of their preseason opener. Jefferson, who was drafted in the seventh round out of Oregon State in 2021, adds depth to the roster after the team waived Jordan Mims due to injury. Mims had been sidelined during training camp.
