- 4:30 PMCageside Seats — You won’t believe who blames Triple H for the worst creative in WWE history
"He wishes we’d focus on the talent, which could be because right now most of us fans and outside observers aren’t thrilled with the product WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and his team are putting out. Point is, The Game is catching a lot of flak these days… including from the man who many blame for booking WCW into the grave, and possibly causing TNA to lose a television deal: Vince Russo. Currently booking Juggalo Championship Wrestling, Russo was the latest guest on Talk is Jericho*. Here’s what he to say on Triple H and the state of WWE creative these days: “Bro, this is the worst creative in the history of the WWE. This is worse than Stephanie [McMahon]… ‘Cause Triple H is the politician. Triple H is in the seat and now we’re seeing what Triple H can do. And let me tell you something, bro. What Triple H can do is not pretty.” While I admittedly don’t keep up with JCW, so I can’t vouch for Russo’s 2026 booking. But I know he was responsible for both the Viagra and Pinata on a Pole matches. I’ll let you guess how much weight I’m putting on Russo’s take, even as someone who’s not impressed with much of what Haitch has done over the past couple years. How will you react? To the comments! * Is his appearance on Jericho’s pod the latest sign a JCW/AEW alliance or angle is coming? Tony Khan was very complimentary of Russo’s booking for Violent J’s promotion during his appearance on The Coach and Bro Show earlier this year…
