Vinicius Jr. faces boos in Real Madrid pre-season start against Deportivo

Vinicius Jr. made his first pre-season start for Real Madrid in a 1-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruña, held at Riazor on August 13. Despite the win, the Brazilian faced a hostile reception from sections of the crowd, who booed every touch of the ball. Vinicius, wearing the captain's armband, contributed to the team's attacking plays but showed signs of needing match fitness. His involvement created opportunities for teammates, particularly Alvaro Carreras, who benefited from Vinicius' presence on the left side. The match marked an important step in Vinicius' preparation for the upcoming season.
