Vitali Pinchuk joins Nashville Predators rookie camp after signing one-year deal

Vitali Pinchuk participated in his first on-ice session with the Nashville Predators at Centennial Ice Rink on Sept. 12. The 24-year-old center signed a one-year contract with the club in May following four professional seasons with Dinamo Minsk in the KHL. Pinchuk recorded 31 goals and 35 assists over 65 games last season, drawing interest from multiple NHL teams as a free agent. Now in North America, he is competing in the team's rookie camp to adjust to the speed of the game and further develop his defensive zone play. The Predators are scheduled to participate in a two-game rookie tournament in North Carolina starting Sept. 13. Future roster prospects remain uncertain as the forward navigates his first transition into the Predators organization.
