Petrino claims he has repeatedly requested to face Walker, a specialist with a 16-1 record and a five-fight win streak, but the Ultimate Fighting Championship has yet to facilitate the bout. Walker previously drew Petrino’s ire by posting a photograph of his recent performance and describing the fight as boring. Petrino, who remains interested in competing against any top-10 contender, maintains that his desire for the challenge stems from a willingness to face the division's best fighters. The UFC has not officially scheduled a contest between the two Brazilian fighters.
