VJ Edgecombe aims to excel in new role with 76ers alongside LeBron James

Summary

VJ Edgecombe, who scored 34 points in his NBA debut, is expected to play a vital role for the Philadelphia 76ers this season. Following roster changes that included the addition of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, Edgecombe's capacity to adapt to a supporting role is under scrutiny. The 76ers hope to maximize his athleticism and off-ball shooting to complement their star players. Edgecombe's prior lower usage rate could benefit him in this adjusted role, as he looks to enhance his offensive contributions and rebounding.
