Vladimir Guerrero Jr. receives support from PM Carney amid Blue Jays struggles

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney expressed his admiration for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as the Toronto Blue Jays sit in last place in the American League East. Despite high expectations following a World Series appearance last season, the Blue Jays have faced offensive challenges. Guerrero, who signed a $500 million contract, is struggling with a career-low slugging percentage of.358 this season. Carney emphasized Guerrero's value, stating, 'He's the real deal,' as the Blue Jays aim for a wild card playoff spot. Guerrero's recent home run against the Philadelphia Phillies helped Toronto secure its seventh win in ten games.
