Von Miller acquires number 40 from Hunter Luepke through business deal

Dallas Cowboys defensive player Von Miller has secured the number 40 jersey by reaching an agreement with fullback Hunter Luepke. Miller, who wore the number during his time at DeSoto High School and Texas A&M, initiated negotiations after joining the team. While he initially offered a lifetime supply of chicken from his organic poultry farm, Greener Pastures Chicken, the two reached a final deal involving equity in the business. As part of the arrangement, Luepke will switch his jersey to number 30. Miller confirmed the agreement on his Free Range podcast, noting that the trade is now 100 percent official. Additionally, the team announced that Caleb Downs has officially transitioned into the number 13 jersey for the remainder of the season.
