Votes are now open for the Manitowoc-Sheboygan Athlete of the Week, with submissions accepted until noon on Thursday. Among the nominees are Soraya Benton from Oostburg volleyball, who recorded 10 kills in a recent match, and Austen Dekker of Sheboygan South football, who contributed over 130 total yards in a victory. Tatum Balderrama from Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah girls tennis also shines, winning her No. 1 singles match. Other nominees include Harrison Anderson from Sheboygan Falls boys soccer and Eddy Giebler from Sheboygan Lutheran boys cross country, both delivering strong performances last week. Nominations for next week can be emailed by Saturday at 5 p.m.
