Vote for Register female Athlete of the Week for May 24-30

The Des Moines Register has announced candidates for the female Athlete of the Week for May 24-30. Lauren Hagedorn delivered standout performances, including a home run and a no-hitter in an 8-0 win over I-35. Hadley Michael contributed with a three-hit shutout in Norwalk's 3-0 victory against Newton. Saleah Vivanh-Vong placed fourth at the 4A girls state golf meet, while Courtney Latham finished sixth in the 3A state meet. Kenley Sanger hit three home runs in Waukee Northwest's season-opening win over Winterset. Voting is open to determine the winners, who will be announced at the end of the week.
