Vote for the top football player from Week 6 performances

The Friday Night Hero voting opens for Week 6, featuring five standout football players from the desert teams. Elijah Guerrero of Twentynine Palms won last week for his game-winning pick six. This week's candidates include quarterback Xzavier Hernandez from Coachella Valley, who threw for two touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Indio; Gabriel Huante from Desert Mirage, who excelled in a 42-18 victory over San Gorgonio; Aiden Pope of Yucca Valley, scoring four touchdowns in a 63-3 rout of Twentynine Palms; Ryan Rumsey, also from Coachella Valley, contributing two receiving touchdowns; and Jaylen Turner from Desert Hot Springs, who had a standout game in a 48-0 blowout of AB Miller. Voting closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
