Vote for top Springfield area softball player from 2026 season

The State Journal-Register has opened a poll to name the top softball player in the Springfield area for the 2026 season. Six nominees, all of whom earned all-state honors, have been put forward, including four seniors headed to NCAA Division I programs: Ryleigh Kiel (Penn State), Irie Lohrenz (Miami Ohio), Aubrey Vogel (Eastern Illinois), and Kaydi Miller (Western Illinois). The poll is set to close at noon on June 19, 2026. The winners and all-area team will be announced on June 18, 2026.
