Vote for Wayne/Holmes County Athlete of the Week candidates

Voting is now open for the Wayne/Holmes County Athlete of the Week for performances from May 25-30. The athletes nominated include Mei Simmons of Dalton, who excelled in two regional playoff games, and Brayden Steiner of Waynedale, who hit a walk-off double in a district final. Voting will close on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Candidates also include MaKenna Heyden and Kailey Valentine from the softball circuit.
