Voting for the Happy State Bank High School Athlete of the Year starts today, June 8, and will run through alternating weeks. The final 16 athletes from the 33 Athlete of the Week winners will advance based on votes received this week. Girls and boys finalists will be highlighted in separate weeks as the competition narrows. Each week’s voting totals will reset, allowing for fresh participation. The finalists represent various sports and schools across the region.
