Voting open for top returning Rockford-area boys and girls XC runners

Voting is now underway for the top returning cross country runners in the Rockford area, with a poll featuring 26 athletes from local schools. Fans can select their favorites for the Preseason Boys and Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, with the poll open until August 19. The upcoming cross country season kicks off on September 5, and runners will be featured at the NIC-10 Preview Meet on September 8. The winners will be announced after the polling closes. Participants include standout athletes such as Judah Binger from Belvidere North and Ella Carson from Winnebago.
