Voting opens for Herald News Player of the Week in soccer

Twenty-two male athletes from six schools in the Fall River area are nominated for the Herald News Player of the Week. The poll recognizes performances in soccer, golf, and cross country for the week of September 14-19. Last week's winner was Durfee golfer Jack Bouchard, who received 68.5% of the votes. Supporters can cast their votes on heraldnews.com until September 27, when the winner will be announced on the site and on social media.
- •Athletes from Atlantis Charter, Joseph Case, Diman, Durfee, Somerset Berkley, and Westport are included.
