Voting opens for Wilmington preseason girls flag football player of the year

Voting has commenced for the inaugural StarNews Fans' Choice Preseason Girls Flag Football Player of the Year Poll, featuring 17 nominees from the Wilmington area. With the first season of sanctioned high school girls flag football set to begin on September 9, six teams, including Ashley, Hoggard, and Laney, are participating this fall. Each nominated player represents at least one of the area teams. Voting will remain open until September 7 at 11:59 p.m.
