Wales considers Cooper as successor if Bellamy joins Burnley
Summary

Wales is assessing Steve Cooper as a potential replacement for head coach Craig Bellamy, who may move to Burnley. The Football Association of Wales has held informal talks with Cooper, while also considering former Wolves manager Rob Edwards. Burnley, seeking a new manager after Scott Parker's departure, has not yet reached a compensation agreement with the FAW for Bellamy, who has expressed a desire to return to club football. Bellamy's potential exit comes amid hopes of leading Wales through Euro 2028, where they will co-host. Despite his interest from clubs, FAW sources remain confident in retaining him.
